The first Self-Custody, One-Ecosystem Layer-1 currency. Hold, send, stake, mine, trade and chat from one app, and your keys never leave your device.
Owning crypto today usually means an exchange account, a separate wallet, mining software, a staking service and a chat app, each with its own login and its own way to fail. Exchanges get hacked. Companies collect your history. And the coins most people hold aren't really theirs until they withdraw them.
On October 29, 2026, attackers drained an estimated $5.3 to $5.8 billion from Binance, the largest exchange in the world, and froze every customer's withdrawals with it. Binance says it can cover the loss. Almost any other exchange would be bankrupt. Coins you hold yourself can't be drained from someone else's wallet or frozen by someone else's investigation.
Keystead puts all of it in one app, on its own chain, with the keys on your device from the first minute.
Your keys live on your device. Nobody can freeze, lend out or lose your coins, and you can take them to any other wallet whenever you like.
One app and one chain for holding, sending, staking, mining, trading and private messaging. No extra accounts, no outside mining software.
Not a token on someone else's chain. Keystead has its own blocks, its own consensus and a hard cap of 21,000,000 KSTD.
Simple mode keeps every task to three steps in plain words. Advanced mode adds fee and coin control, raw transactions, miner settings and a node console. Same wallet underneath.
QR codes, payment requests with a note, a warning before the first send to a new address, and spending limits you set.
Your staked coins help approve every block. The yield adjusts with how much is staked, between 1% and 35% a year, all set by the chain.
CPU and GPU at the same time, detected for you. Pauses on battery or when a card runs hot. Always off until you turn it on.
End-to-end encrypted messages and groups, with send-money and payment requests right in the conversation. Your chat identity is kept separate from your funds.
Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum, USDC, Dogecoin and more, all restored from the same recovery phrase, in standard formats other wallets can open.
Swap between coins with every fee shown up front. No margin, no leverage, no lending, ever. Trading opens only after its security audit.
Each algorithm gets a quarter of the blocks and its own difficulty, so a home CPU never races a warehouse of ASICs. Three lanes are merge-mined: miners who already secure Bitcoin, Litecoin or Monero can secure Keystead with the same work, at no extra energy cost.
| LANE | HARDWARE | MERGE-MINED WITH | SHARE |
|---|---|---|---|
| SHA-256 | Bitcoin ASICs | Bitcoin | 25% |
| Scrypt | Litecoin and Dogecoin ASICs | Litecoin, Dogecoin | 25% |
| RandomX | Any CPU | Monero (through P2Pool) | 25% |
| KawPow | AMD and NVIDIA GPUs | Native only | 25% |
No single lane may produce more than 40% of the last 100 blocks.
A block is mined on one of the four lanes, about once a minute.
Stakers chosen at random sign approve or reject, and their votes go into the next block. A rejected block's reward is cancelled.
A supermajority of stake signs a checkpoint, and nodes never reorganise past it. A large mining pool can't rewrite history on its own.
Everyone starts from the same block, the founder included. Every claim on this page can be checked against the code and the chain.
Run a node, mine on any lane, stake test coins and try to break it. Real bugs found on the testnet earn real rewards.
